Start your onboarding with NetherStart Partners

One questionnaire covers the legal form, the people, the services you need and your timing. We read it and reply by the channel you choose. The form takes no payment, and our prices are given on request.

How it works

  1. Send the questionnaireYou describe the business, the people and the services; an undecided choice can wait for the conversation. No official time is published
  2. We review it and replyWe check what your legal form requires, may ask a follow-up, then send the scope of the work and our offer. No official time is published
  3. Documents, identification and the startIdentity documents by secure link. Sole proprietors and VOF partners register at the KVK themselves; a BV starts with a notary's deed.No official time is published
From your answers to the start: the order is fixed, the timing depends on the legal form and on the KVK or the notary.
  1. Send the questionnaire

Tell us about the business, the people behind it and the services you want. Where you have not decided something yet, say so: that choice can wait for the conversation.

  2. We review it and reply

We check what the legal form you chose requires and may ask a follow-up question. Then we send you the scope of the work and our offer.

  3. Documents, identification and the start

We ask for identity documents through a secure link. Sole proprietors and VOF partners then register at the KVK themselves, with our preparation; a BV starts with a notary's deed.

A laptop and an open notebook on a desk by a tall window
One questionnaire, read by our team before the first reply.

Your onboarding questionnaire

Required fields are marked. Sending the questionnaire places no order, and nothing is charged.

Contact

How we reach you, and how you would like us to reply.

Optional. In international format, starting with the country code (+31 for the Netherlands).

How should we reply?

The business

Not sure which form fits? Choose Not sure yet and we will talk it through.

Two or three sentences are enough.

A BV has no statutory minimum capital; leave this empty if you have not decided.

How many owners, partners or shareholders?
Will a company, rather than a person, be an owner or shareholder?
How many directors or managing partners?
Will at least one director or partner live in the Netherlands?

Services

Tick every service you would like an offer for.

Services for your launch

For a sole proprietorship or a VOF you register yourself at the KVK; we prepare the file and accompany you. For a BV, a notary executes the deed.

On its own

Our business address is a separate service: a client who takes it takes no other service from us.

Timing and context

When you want to start, anything else we should know, and two confirmations.

When do you want to start?

A legal form or service not listed above is welcome here too.

What we will need from you

These are the KVK's and the notary's requirements, not ours. We ask for the documents only after our first reply, through a secure link.

Privacy and security

Your answers go by email to info@starting-a-business-in-the-netherlands.com, with the context of your visit: IP address, city-level location, internet provider (network operator), browser, language, referring page, path through this site, visit number, time spent, device, screen and cookie state. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the spam check; Resend delivers the email.

This page asks for no passport scan, no upload and no payment details. Identity documents come later, through a secure link, and any payment is made against our invoice on our payment page. Microsoft Clarity loads only after you accept analytics and masks what you type; Google Analytics sets no cookie before that. The Privacy Policy names every recipient.

Frequently asked questions before you send

Can you register my sole proprietorship for me?

No. The KVK states that only the owner can register an eenmanszaak, logging in with their own DigiD, and that an intermediary may help but cannot register it (KVK, checked on 8 October 2026). We prepare the file, check your documents and accompany you through the registration.

Does sending the questionnaire commit me to anything, or cost anything?

No. This form takes no payment, and sending it is a request, not an order. Our reply sets out the scope of the work and our offer, price included. If you decide to go ahead, any payment is made later, against our invoice, on our payment page.

Why can I not combine the business address with other services?

Our business address is a separate service: a client who takes it takes no other service from us. Dutch law (the Wet toezicht trustkantoren 2018) treats an address combined with certain other work for the same client as a licensed trust service, so we keep the two apart.

Do I send my documents now?

No. This page takes no upload. After our first reply we ask for identity documents through a secure link. The table above shows what the KVK or the notary asks for, by legal form, so our request comes as no surprise.

My legal form or service is not listed. Can I still send the form?

Yes. Choose the nearest option, or Not sure yet, and describe your plan in the message field; that is also the place for a service the list does not name. We read every questionnaire and reply, by the channel you chose, whether and how we can help.
